A Vermont couple will be married Friday during Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights.
April Richardson, a graphic designer, and Adam Cochran, a pharmacist, were the winners of a contest that will allow them to be married on the steps of one of the theme park’s haunted houses (Legendary Truth: Wyandot Estate), flanked by a few ghoulish guests. The prize, valued at more than $11,000, includes park tickets, hotel stays and other perks.
The couple met while students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill six years ago. They consider themselves lifelong fans of Halloween and throw annual parties and scavenger hunts.
The contest was designed to tout Universal’s wedding packages. For more information, go to www.UniversalOrlandoWeddings.com.
